SYMPTOMS OF BREAST IMPLANT ILLNESS

Many women have similar symptoms as mine, if not worse and more extreme. They have reported symptoms with all types of breast implants regardless of filling, shape, or surface characteristics. The sad thing is, a lot of doctors don’t recognize these symptoms and will tell you either you are getting old or it’s all in your head. Trust me… It’s not!

These are some of the personal symptoms I have experienced since having my saline implants in for the past 9 years. I literally thought I was going crazy and my body was giving out on me since I never had any of these symptoms before 2012 (pre-implantation).

My Symptoms…

• Autoimmune Disease (high inflammation markers)
• Chronic Fatigue
• Memory Loss
• Trouble Concentrating and Communicating
• Irritability
• Headaches
• Liver Toxicity (and bodily smells associated with liver toxicity)
• Sudden Food Intolerance
• Weight gain (+50lbs)
• Thyroid Complications
• Joint Pain
• Temperature Intolerence
• Hair Loss, Dry Skin and Hair
• Decreased Libido
• Candida
• Changes in Mensural Cycle (premenopausal)
• Insomnia
• Mood Swings
• Anxiety

For me, having this knowledge was such a relief to understand why and how I was feeling the way I was and still am. It answered so many questions I had about my mental and physical state. Unfortunately, I know the road ahead is still a long and hard recovery.

Finding Support With Those Who Understand

I was fortunate to find an amazing doctor who enlightened me on how my body was rejecting the implants I had put in my body 9 years ago. IF you are thinking about getting breast implants, please do your research! If you have them already and are feeling this way… please find the right doctors and the support to help you through this.
