9 MUST HAVES FOR YOUR HAIR!

There are so many products out there for your hair and it really does become confusing on what’s gonna work and be the best for you. The last thing you what to do is buy products that don’t work and are a waste of your money. Plus, I don’t know about you but who has a bunch of money to just spend on extra products for our hair. I mean… getting your hair done alone is expensive enough!

Here are my favorite top 9 products I can’t live without!

They have helped my hair become healthier, thicker, and grow… and let’s not forget nice and shiny. Cause we all want to have beautiful hair that looks effortless!

1. Wet Brush

If you want a product that will protect your hair when it’s wet and the most exposed to damage, the Wet Brush is a must-have!

Wet brush

With all the product we put in our hair, sometimes we need to do a good deep clean. Using Dawn Soap and Lemons and then a deep conditioner is called Chelating. You have to try this!

Chelating

This isn’t just a hair massager to make you feel relaxed. This Hair and Scalp Massager is made of soft silicone bristles that stimulate blood circulation and circulation and airflow to the scalp and oil glands and is effective in preventing hair loss. Also, helps to remove dandruff and dirt by scalp stimulation.

Detoxifying Scalp & Hair Scrubber
olaplex

OLAPLEX No.3 is not a conditioner! This is an at-home hair repairing treatment. It relinks the broken bonds in the hair, providing a real, structural repair that works from within.

This seriously leaves the hair so shiny and thick feeling. What’s even better is it’s paraben-free, vegan, sulfate-free, and phthalate-free. I can not live without this stuff… I’m addicted to the way it leaves my hair!

5. Black Castor Oil

Jamaican Black Castor Oil is prepared by first roasting the beans and it’s rich in ricinoleic acid.

Black Castor Oil is known for moisturizing, thickening, strengthening, and rapidly increasing hair growth. It will also prevent hair breakage, dandruff, eczema, and dry, itchy scalp.

If you want a Black Castor oil with a little more kick, try Tropic Isle Living Strong Roots Red Pimento Hair Growth Oil.It has a mint kinda feeling that just feels amazing on your scalp.

Turkish towels

Using a Turkish Towel helps your hair retain some of that moisture, and doesn’t over-dry it, while helping protect your strands, with its soft fabric. Annnnd it helps with frizz because it retains the moisture in your hair. Great for not only your hair but to use at the beach or as a cover-up.

hairsprays

Styling sprays are so personal. I think everyone has their favorites and for different reasons.

For an overall strong dry hairspray, I go with OSiS Finish by Schwarzkopf Session Extreme Hold. What more texture and to shape your waves or curls? I go with TIGI Bed Head Maxxed Out Massive Hold Hair Spray, for that look. But if a rough-textured look with a choppy, satin-matte finish is your thing… you must try Redken Wax Blast 10 Finishing Hair Spray Wax is a texturizing hairspray wax that’s very defining.

And to be honest… since I love me some hairspray, sometimes I just mix them altogether if my hair just needs something extra… haha!

8. 3 Ringed Rat-tailed Comb

I swear by this comb! If you want an amazing backcombing to give your hair some volume, don’t waste your time with a normal rat-tailed comb. This 3 Ringed Rat-tailed Comb rats your hair more effectively with less effort and breakage, for the most volume.

9. An Amazing Set of Hair Extensions

When you look on TV or watch a movie, ALL of those female actors have hair extensions (and even some of your male actors too- and rockstars… check out Steven Tyler’s hair).Hair extensions

I left this for last because this will be your secret weapon. When you want more volume, color, or length, or just to change up your hair and your overall look, extensions are a must.

Extensions are a great option especially for those with thinning hair from health issues or just genetics.

Don’t settle on cheap extensions, because it’s very noticeable. If you take care of them properly they will last you forever.

When you get some good ones, take them to a professional hairstylist and have them blended, so they look as natural as possible.

Trust me for someone who’s worn them for over a decade (and sells them), if you do them right they can be so much fun and addicting!
