TOXINS AND BREAST IMPLANTS
So you are probably wondering what in the world does toxins and breast implants have to do with each other. Breast implants are safe because they are put into millions of women around the world. Right??! Wrong!
If you haven’t yet, read my previous post on What is Breast Implant Illness, it goes over some of the carcinogenic toxins in breast implants.
Toxins And The Body
Toxins found in the body are caused by environmental factors. These toxins accumulate in the liver, intestines, veins, lymph nodes, salivary glands, and lungs, which will result in inflammation and other serious health complications.
So this means, anything you put into your body i.e… eat, drink, smell, digest, consume, cut open, and put in you, will have some kind of effect on the rest of your body and how it functions. Now, it’s how your body responds to these substances that raise caution. Sometimes it’s fine… other times not so much.
What Causes Inflammation
So let’s dive more into inflammation…
Inflammation is the body’s immune system’s response to an irritant. Most of the time this is a good thing. This tells your body, “oh no… there is something wrong, protect me!” The irritant might be a germ, but it could also be a foreign object (or objects), and/or toxins.
Many different things can cause inflammation. These are the most common:
- Pathogens (germs) like bacteria, viruses, or fungi
- External injuries like scrapes or damage by foreign objects
- Effects of chemicals, toxins, or radiation
Breast Implants, Toxins, and Inflammation
With all the carcinogens that are in silicone, we are now learning it isn’t good for your body over long periods of time. We also know that breast implants are all made out of a silicone shell, and this shell is made out of extremely toxic substances. These toxins eventually get into the bloodstream and circulate throughout the body and …. dun dun dunnnn… causes the body to freak out and yep… and this is where the inflammation occurs.
Now, how is your body responding to this inflammation? Autoimmune disease, liver toxicity, chronic fatigue syndrome, recurring illnesses, anxiety, cancer… or maybe It’s all of the above?
