SUGAR-FREE MOSCOW MULE
Moscow Mules are one of the easiest drinks to make. In every place I have ever bartended, Moscow Mules were one of the most highly demanded drinks, especially in Vegas.
Making Mules, require very little effort. There are no complicated ingredients, no shaking, stirring, or straining and they still taste as a professional bartender made it.
Variations
If you aren’t into vodka or you have other spirits on hand, this is a very easy recipe to substitute.
- Crazy Burro: 2oz of Tequila, 2 limes, and ginger beer.
- Jackass: 2oz Whiskey, 2 lemons, ginger beer, and bitters.
- Dark and Stormy: 2oz of Spiced Rum, 2 limes, and ginger beer.
Virgin Moscow Mule
Not everyone drinks alcohol, but they still want to hang out and feel included, which is why a virgin Moscow Mule is a nice trade-off. Just add the ginger beer, two squeezes of lime, and top with two dashes of bitters. Easy Peasy…
Sugar-Free Ginger Beer
Drinking alcohol is not always the best for those who have autoimmune diseases or who want to lose weight or just don’t want the added sugar. And using a diet alternative isn’t always the healthier option either.
But, I’ve found a great substitute! Try adding Zevia Ginger Beer made with stevia instead of a diet choice. Stevia is made from a plant and has no added chemicals or just weird ingredients that can’t be pronounced.
You can still have the fun taste of a Moscow Mule with less sugar, which your body will thank you, especially the next day!
