HOW FASTING IS GREAT FOR LOSING WEIGHT AND MORE

Most of us barely have time to sit down for 2 minutes before we have to get up and do something else on our “To-Do-Lists”. Cooking is the last thing we want to do but we still want to eat and can only afford to take out a few times a month, let alone a week. So what’s the solution?

Quick Meals With A Sous Vide

This whole meal took me a total of 5 minutes to make with a Sous Vide… and tasted aaaaamazing!

Working in restaurants for years… I’ll give you a little secret, they all use a Sous Vide. That’s how you get juicy tender meat dishes.

What Is A Sous Vide?

Sous Vide literally means “under vacuum” or “under pressure. You place the meat in a vacuumed bag (or ziplock bag) and then submerge it in water. The water transfers the heat, to where the food is cooked more gently, efficiently, and held at exactly the right serving temperature. It slowly cooks your meat, so they don’t dry out. Ever tried cooking a pork chop? Ugh…Then you know what I mean.

Once you submerge the meat in a sealed air-tight bag and submerge it, you set the temperature, timer (can be anywhere from 1.5 hrs to 24 hours depending on your type of meat and cut) and you go about your day. Once you are ready, you give it an extremely quick sear after the meat has been cooked through. Voila! Super Easy.

The tricky part is knowing what to season your meat with and what side dish to serve it with.

Cook To Impress

Oh, and another little secret… this is the best way to cook meat if you are looking to impress someone and show off your impeccable cooking skills ;). This takes very little skills and comes out tasting like you’re a professional. Perfect for the holidays coming up!
